As part of the Armoured Fighting Vehicles Facilities Program works at the Puckapunyal Military Area, St Hilliers has worked closely with Defence, Jacobs, AECOM/Aurecon JV and Ventia to successfully hand over the vehicle wash point ahead of overall project completion. Through heavy coordination with the user group and base representatives, St Hilliers was able to provide early access to the Commonwealth, achieving a key milestone for the Armoured Fighting Vehicles Facilities Program.
The wash point comprised of three elevated wash bays, three armoured vehicle wash bays, a high pressure and vacuum pump house and recycled waste water treatment plant to support not only the fighting vehicle upgrade, but base operations on site generally.
A massive congratulations to the entire team involved in handing the area over while still maintaining project oversight for the Simulation Centre works coming up.
