Tradies National Health Month

The month of August is Tradies National Health Month, raising the awareness of the health and injury risks affecting those who work in trade occupations – among tradies themselves, their families, employers and the wider community.

To help spread the message and keep Aussie tradies healthy, Belmont Private Hospital put on a BBQ at our Stage 3 project site. Our onsite trades were able to socialise, take a moment to reflect, enjoy a bite to eat and learn more about the importance of mental health and injury prevention in the construction industry.

Statistics show that 25.1% of construction workers experienced a mental illness over the last 12 months. Being the largest private mental health hospital in Queensland, Belmont Hospital CEO, Mary Williams, addressed our onsite team, thanking them for their help across the industry.

St Hilliers and Belmont Private Hospital are proud to support National Tradies Health Month.
