A School for Special Purposes (SSP), the new Yandelora School is located on the site of the former Hope Anglican School, which was demolished to enable the construction of a modern, purpose-built education facility.
As a SSP, the Yandelora School will cater to the needs of students with moderate to severe intellectual and physical disabilities, by providing intensive and specialised staffing and educational programs. The project included a new multi-purpose school hall, hydrotherapy pool, new classrooms and an administration building. A fantastic effort by our project delivery team and a great outcome for SINSW.
The event was attended by Hon. Rob Stokes (NSW Education Minister), Jason Brown (SINSW), Cr Peter Sidgreaves (Mayor of Camden), Mr Brant Wood (St Hilliers Operations Mgr.), Mr Greg Malenstein (St Hilliers Project Mgr.) and Mr Dax Wood (St Hilliers Site Mgr.) pictured above.
Our Site Foreman, Dan Delaney raised the Aboriginal flag with student Anderson Hooke and Yandelora Principal Ms. Jacqueline Lockyer, pictured across.
