We had an incredible day in Brisbane as we gathered our talented cadets from across the country for St Hilliers biannual Cadet Day!
At St Hilliers, we believe in nurturing future leaders, and this event was all about providing our cadets with a glimpse into the limitless opportunities that await them in the construction industry.
Joined by guest speakers from various departments, our team imparted their wisdom, shared their experiences, and offered advice they wish they’d received during their cadet days. It was an enlightening experience for our cadets as they gleaned invaluable career insights from the best in the business.
Thanks to our inspiring speakers:
Kirk Thompson, Senior Project Engineer
The Waterfront, Gosford (Property Sector)
Mitchell Daly, Contract Administrator
Bernborough Ascot (Contracting Sector)
Andrew Law, Project Manager
Gallipoli Barracks (Defence Sector)
But it didn’t stop there! Cadet, Jarrad Edwardson provided an informative presentation on his current project placement at Bernborough Ascot, ahead of a site walkthrough led by Senior Project Manager, Lachlan Peggie, and HSE Coordinator, Leslie Soos. Our cadets had a fantastic opportunity to interact with project teams and ask questions on a live site.
Our goal is to create a culture that prioritises learning and invests in future leaders. We’re committed to providing our cadets with the tools they need to excel in their careers and uncover their true aspirations in the world of construction.
Stay tuned for more updates from St Hilliers as we continue to shape the future of construction, one cadet at a time!
