Blackall Hospital Recycling ‘Containers for Change’

The St Hilliers project team delivering the Blackall Hospital in Outback Queensland are recycling ‘Containers for Change’ in support of the Royal Flying Doctor Service. By collecting and recycling empty bottles, cans and containers on site, they are raising vital funds for the iconic service which delivers emergency care and critical support to those who need it most.

Works are progressing well on the $18.9 million Blackall Hospital with the project expected to be completed during October. The new hospital will be a 10-bed facility, including two emergency department bays and two observational chairs, and will provide coordinated and integrated healthcare for the remote community.
