The project involved the construction of two new 7 Year buildings located at Victoria Point State High School and Cavendish Road State High School.
The contract was for the construction of the two new Year 7 buildings, although the two buildings were located at two separate schools, and was awarded as one contract.
Both new Year 7 buildings consisted of two storey construction within a live school environment. The buildings included general learning areas, project development areas, staff workroom, kitchen and toilet facilities. Cavendish Road State High School also included the demolition of the second level of an existing building and the design and construction of a new open air structure.
