5-star Hotel
St Hilliers completed construction of this 5 star hotel complex comprising 18 storeys containing 212 guest rooms,conference facilities and guest facilities.
Located on the corner of Herb Elliot Avenue and Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park, Pullman is opposite the International Aquatic Centre and existing Novotel and Ibis hotels.
The ground level of the Hotel contains reception and lobby area, lounge, bar, kitchen and restaurant. Conference rooms and guest facilities are located on the level 1 and mezzanine above.
Sixteen levels of guest rooms continue above to complete the Hotel. The hote’s two level basement car park extends under the existing road and connects to the existing Novotel and Ibis hotel car parks.
Pullman was constructed using a precast structure and facade with internal Hebel walls. ESD Initiatives have been incorporated in the design of the hotel, aimed at achieving a saving of 40% of water and energy costs as compared to a similar building.
Complex services infrastructure support works were completed as part of the project in order to allow the basement excavation to proceed whilst maintaining services to adjoining buildings.
