Meet Mitch Columbus, son of St Hilliers WHS Officer Shaun Columbus, and a dedicated apprentice in welding.
Selected among six students completing school-based apprenticeships at the Australian Industry Trade College, Mitch will join the ‘New Hope Cambodia’ program, traveling to Cambodia to utilise his new skills to build facilities for impoverished families in Siem Reap.
To support Mitch, St Hilliers recently hosted a site BBQ, collecting gold coin donations for his trip.
