What an amazing way to kick start our week. St Hilliers spent the first few hours of Monday morning helping Defence Widow June clean up her backyard as part of Legacy’s Backyard Assist Program. Her husband was a serving Veteran who passed away over 25 years ago.
June had years of sticks piled up in the corner of her backyard, which we lugged down the hill and took to the dump. She was ecstatic with the results!
Days like these warm our hearts. Thanks to Legacy Brisbane for involving us. We can’t wait to roll up our sleeves for the next one.
