Holsworthy Mid Term Refresh Completion

St Hilliers has recently completed the ‘Holsworthy Mid Term Refresh’ project; replacing existing Living-In Accommodation (LIA) with two new double-storey 45-bed LIAs.

The new LIAs feature a conventional on-ground substructure, including a BONDEK structural steel superstructure system for first floor framing. The exterior roof and wall claddings are composed of a mixture of lightweight fibre-cement and colorbond steel sheeting. Mechanical works are interfaced with the site-wide BMS, and Electrical works have been upgraded to comply with the Manual of Infrastructure Engineering – Electrical, connecting with the existing interface and services on site. Associated ICT works include a fire alarm monitoring system, voices services and MATV provisions. Civil works and associated service infrastructure including stormwater, sewer, electrical, water and fire have been tied into heading base-wide service infrastructure. The new substation and associated feeds are run to the new main distribution boards.

We would like to thank Beca, as well as our key construction partners for helping St Hilliers deliver another seamless project for the Department of Defence.

Congratulations to the entire team involved on a job well-done!
