School Infrastructure NSW grouped together various schools that require upgrade works and additional teaching facilities.
The schools continued operations during the expansion and upgrade works, so consideration was made to the appropriate staging of construction and the provision of demountable accommodation.
Each project provided appropriate core facilities to modern best practice in line with the Department’s Education Facilities Standards and Guidelines and to facilitate 21st Century and Future Focused learning objectives.
Ingleburn High School
Located in Western Sydney, this project provided 10 new permanent teaching spaces accommodating up to 200 additional students within Ingleburn High School, taking the total capacity up to approximately 1000 students. This project also upgraded the core facilities and replaced the four existing demountable with permanent facilities. These works involved upgrades to the following facilities to 7 stream core facilities standards: library, movement complex stage, visual arts workshop and canteen.
