RAAF Tindal is located 15km out of Katherine, NT. Originally constructed during World War II, RAAF Tindal has grown into one of the most important Defence bases.
RAAF Tindal is an operational base, and as such requires Living in Accommodation (LIA) for all service personnel. The Department of Defence (Headquarters Air Force) has identified the need for a refresh of existing LIA’s. Both the Airman’s Accommodation (A prefix Buildings) and Junior/Senior Officers Accommodation (B prefix Buildings) have been identified in the scope. The proposed works will bring these enduring capability support assets to modern standards and positively impact morale.
St Hilliers has been engaged by the Department of Defence to complete the design and construct works for the following Airman’s Accommodation building – A0092, A0094, A0096, A0097, A0098, A0099 and the Following SNCO’s Accommodation Buildings – B0198, B0199 B0207, B208, B0213, B0214, B0215.
