St Hilliers were engaged by the Department of Defence to construct a dedicated firewater ring main to support the sitewide demands compliant with current Defence and Industry standards. The main scope of works to be completed are:
- Installation of new fire water pipe across the base;
- Providing two fire water storage tanks;
- Upgrading of single headed fire hydrants to double headed;
- Additional fire hydrants to areas not sufficiently covered; and
- Connecting existing compliant fire infrastructure into the new fire water ring main
