LAND154 Phase 2 is a capability program that will improve Defence’s joint counter-improvised explosive device response. In order to support this program, construction of new facilities is required at DSTG Edinburgh and Gallipoli Barracks for the storage of the new containerised deployable forensic laboratories.
A general description of the scope of works at each site is as follows:
- A hardstand to accommodate the containerised deployable forensic laboratories
- Amenities building
- Services infrastructure
- Type 2 security fencing with access-controlled gates
- Facilities for treatment and disposal of specialist waste
