This project involved the construction of a new Dockyard Precinct for the Ship Repair and Maintenance Contractors. The new Dockyard Amenities Facility required the relocation of the existing temporary facilities to facilitate ongoing operational activities during project delivery.
The new Development of the Garden Island Dockyard Precinct involved two critical activities.
1) Relocation of existing temporary Contractor amenities
2) Construction of new Contractors amenities
Level 1 was constructed as an open eatery area with lunching and kitchen facilities. This open plan area included for table and seating for approximately 350 persons.
The ground floor incorporated Male & Female lockers and change rooms as well as sufficient ablutions to services the anticipated peak Dockyard workforce.
