The refurbishment of Building 654, home of the 1 Combat Communications Squadron, involved a major end-of-life refurbishment of the building, consisting of replacement of all internal services, DDA compliance upgrades and internal finishes.
Importantly, the building contained both Zone 4 and 5 high security areas requiring strict construction verification records to be maintained to ensure the timely certification of the building through DSVS and ASIO T4.
