This project is an end-of-life refurbishment and repurposing of the existing ADFIS Police Training School including upgrades to BCA and NCC compliance, accessibility codes and regulations and a change of classification for the building use.
St Hilliers are delivering the refurbishment works including the external civil, drainage and earth retention works, structural works pertaining to concrete cancer remediation, waterproofing upgrades to the roofing structure, new ramps and stairs, a new detached carport and associated extensions of the pavement surface and internal fit out works including demolition and replacement of all services including ICT, electrical, mechanical, communications, security, fire and hydraulics.
Internal fit out works pertain to demolition of some internal concrete walls, replacement with newly configured load bearing concrete walls, protection of significant heritage items within the building and structure and the reconfiguration of a new kitchen, new ablutions, PWD toilet and shower and new offices, lobby and waiting areas.
