#betterinblackall

The Better in Blackall festival – a celebration of outback culture & arts – was back for 2021! St Hilliers has been involved in the local Blackall community for some time, having completed the new hospital back in 2020.

With the festival running over 4 days last week, there was delicious food, art shows, fashion parades, billy cart racing, live music and much more.

The first day of the festival was a memorable moment for the St Hilliers team. Senior Project Manager, Alan O’Kennedy was there for the official opening of the Big-B which was followed by an evening celebrating the closing of the old hospital and the opening of the new, constructed by St Hilliers.

St Hilliers is proud to have been involved in and to have sponsored such a key event for the local Blackall community. We can’t wait to participate in the billy cart racing at next year’s festival.
