Enjoying cracking weather and an on-site BBQ, our team at the Lavarack Barracks has recently held a Toolbox Meeting and Auction to raise funds for Mates in Construction. Having recently engaged Mates in Construction to perform a ‘General Awareness’ training session at our RAAF Base Pearce Fire Upgrade project, it’s a cause we feel very passionately about. Being among those at the highest risk of experiencing poor mental health, it’s critical that our construction teams spread awareness and open the door for difficult, (lifesaving) conversations.
