Across our workplace today, we raised the question, “R U OK?”
In this current climate, mental health is having a substantial impact across the construction industry and it is at the forefront of our minds.
Fitting with this year’s theme, ‘Are they really OK? Ask them today’, St Hilliers’ site, office and work-from-home staff nationwide have chosen their own unique way of raising questions and recognising this day.
Whether it be to pause for a moment, share a morning tea, wear merchandise with pride, have a conversation with someone we wouldn’t normally or asking tough questions to those that are close to us, we are looking out for ourselves and others.
It’s not just one day, it’s every day where these conversations can make a world of difference. Take the time to reach out and check in with somebody you know.
