A ‘Groundbreaking’ Start at Kirwan Health Campus!

Monday marked a significant milestone for St Hilliers as we officially broke ground on the Kirwan Health Campus Expansion project!

With shovels in hand and spirits high, we were joined by The Honourable Shannon Fentiman, Aaron Harper MP, Tony Mooney AM, and local dignitaries for a ceremonial sod-turn, symbolising the beginning of construction. Commencing the ceremony with a sense of community, we’d like to thank Aunty Virginia Wyles for her moving Welcome to Country; a fitting start to the day’s celebrations!

St Hilliers is proud to lead the $40 million expansion, which will introduce a new two-storey building to enhance capacity and provide additional services, such as pre-natal and post-natal care, and oral health treatment centres. We’re not just building structures; we’re crafting a future where healthcare is more accessible and comprehensive for everyone.

As we embark on this project, we’d like to express our sincere appreciation to our clients at Queensland Health, for their trust, support, and vision.

Anticipating the completion in December 2024, we’re eager to reveal a modern healthcare hub that will serve the community for generations.

A big thank you to everyone involved – stay tuned for more updates as we progress on-site!
