Team Hilliers take on the 2022 Canungra Challenge

St Hilliers is proud to have raised a total of $11,709 for Legacy Australia. We would like to thank each of our donors for supporting this incredible cause and share with them some images from the 2022 Canungra Challenge.

Kicking off at the Kokoda Barracks, our St Hilliers teams powered through the early morning course, navigating 7km of muddy terrain, scaling obstacles, crawling through barbed wire, and swimming across an ice-cold river.

With unrivalled spirit, our St Hilliers competitors supported one another through the gruelling challenge and demonstrated incredible teamwork and sportsmanship. Battling exhaustion (and hypothermia), you couldn’t wipe the smiles off Team Hilliers’ faces as they crossed the finish line and conquered the course together. Well done to all of our participants!

Special thanks go to @Brett Nicholson from KLN Group for his generous last-minute donation which saw us exceed our goal.

Legacy Australia raised an incredible $175,000 from the challenge, which will provide essential social, financial and development support services for 5,856 widow/ers, 217 youth and 153 people with a disability across South-East, Central and Western Queensland.

We look forward to competing again next year!
